How To Be An Awesome Guest and Make the Most of Your Appearance on 2Questions.TV:

We’re so excited you’ve decided to be on the show! Here’s how to make the most of your appearance:

Energy:

Relax and have fun with your interview. No need to be nervous! The way Susan sees it, it’s her job to make you look good. If you’re an author, we want to share your book with as many people as we can, so Susan will encourage her audience to buy a copy. Now you can sit back and just enjoy the interview.

Technology:

Please feel free to test the Zoom technology before your appointment. We ask that you not test on Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 11 AM and [5:30] PM Eastern time, as we are often conducting interviews during those times.

We do recommend that if you’re using your computer camera and microphone, wear ear buds to minimize the echo. Susan wears a single ear bud.

Social/Sharing:

We’ll be promoting the heck out of your show across all of our platforms, and we would love for you to share your episode with your audience. When your show goes live, we’ll send you a YouTube link. Approximately one week later, your show will go live as a podcast. We’ll send another email letting you know when that happens, so you can share your episode with your audience as well. Please do share these links – they help us to reach and support more viewers and listeners.

Our best guests come through referrals. Do you know someone we should interview? Please introduce us via email and we’ll take it from there.

Can I receive the questions in advance?

Typically, Susan does not write the questions until the week of the interview. This is because spots are scheduled far in advance and frequently we have some last-minute shuffling in the calendar, thus Susan does not read books until 3-7 days before the interviews are scheduled to take place.

Additionally, Susan prefers not to send out the questions in advance, keeping the conversation organic and flowing. If you’re an author, your questions will be drawn from the themes of your book.

Susan does not believe in surprising guests, and her aim is to make you look good (and help you get more books sold!).

If you absolutely want the questions in advance, Susan will share the questions or the general direction of the questions a day or two before the interview. Please let David know that you would like your questions in advance.

How big is your audience?

Our following is currently over 97,000 fans and followers across all of our social media channels. Our show launched in late September, 2017 and right away, was a hit with our followers.

Who is your audience?

Our audience is primarily executives, C-suite leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs.

May I send a digital copy of my book for my interview?

Nope. Unfortunately, Susan no longer reads digital books. She finds that the digital medium strains her eyes more than hard copies of books. Additionally, she takes copious notes throughout the book, and finds it more helpful to do so with actual pen and paper. Finally, Susan knows that the reason authors come on the show is because they’re promoting the book. That’s why she wants a hard copy of the book – so she can hold it up and show her audience the cover and encourage them to buy their own copy.

May I be on your show?

Maybe. If you’re an author, you’ll need to send a hard copy of your book for Susan to preview. Contact us and let us know you’re interested in being on the show and we’ll let you know how to send your book to Susan.
